Hi,
Please refer to the following support page: https://en.support.wordpress.com/change-name-servers/
Happy blogging!

If you’re moving your site to another host, WordPress.com suggests you transfer your domain to the new host so that both your domain and your hosting are managed in the same place.
Please let me know if this is what you’re looking for.

Yes, so I registered my domain on WordPress.com rather than WordPress.org, which is the CMS I want to use for my site. I’ve been told that my domain nameservers are with wordpress, and that I need to contact wordpress.com and ask you to change it to ns1.Bluehost.com and ns2.Bluehost.com.
Can you help?!

Alright, the best thing you can do here is to transfer your domain: https://en.support.wordpress.com/transfer-domain-registration/
This way, both your domain and your hosting are managed in the same place.
Once you have the transfer code, head to your new registrar’s site and start the transfer. It appears you have chosen BlueHost, here are instructions provided by them: https://my.bluehost.com/cgi/help/transfer
If you registered your domain less than 60 days ago, you can point your domain to your new host even if you’re unable to transfer the registration, by changing the domain’s name servers: https://en.support.wordpress.com/change-name-servers/
Please let me know if I can be of assistance.

Yes, you can!
Can you clarify if I will be able to transfer with a .co.uk domain? The video on the link you shared suggested not…
Unfortunately, your instructions on the Change Name Servers doesn’t match what’s on my screen! There is no button to choose to not use WordPress.com, so I don’t know how to create custom name servers.

HI there,
Your domain oiethai.co.uk is not registered with us. You only have a mapping upgrade here.
It looks like your domain is registered with GoDaddy instead. Does that sound familiar?
DNS is set up with your host, so as your name servers are pointing to us, you can change MX and A records and so on here. But the name servers themselves are set at your domain registrar, not your host, so you need to make this change at GoDaddy.
You can find GoDaddy’s instructions to do this here:
https://support.godaddy.com/help/article/12317/setting-custom-nameservers-for-domains-registered-with-us -
P.S.
if your site is going to be with Bluehost, you can cancel the domain mapping you bought from us, as you only need that if you want to use the domain with a site hosted here.
