Can I get a theme with a home slidebar with a membership area?

  I’m looking to create a website with a home slidebar and a small platform for people to list their space. Has anyone an idea how I can create that through WordPress? Saw some great themes with slidebars, but can’t find information about a membership area, marketplace etc.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  There is no FTP access and no blogger installed plugin capability on any free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and there is no upgrade you can purchase here that changes that reality.

  None of the WordPress.COM plans allow for a fully fledged membership by registration site, including being able to provide usernames and passwords.
  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the Theme support forums there.
