Can I get an old deleted blog’s url?

  I was looking into starting a new blog for my personal ramblings, and I wanted to use brokensymmetry.wordpress.com. I went to sign up for it, and was told that it already existed and no, I couldn’t have it. So I visited the site, and it said that it was deleted by the author. If they’re not using it, is there some way that I could get a hold of it?

  I’m sorry but the answer to that is “no”. The support documentation is clear on this once a blog is deleted it’s gone forever.
