Can I get back my previous web address ?

I tried changing my web address and it worked , but I thought I could get back the web address as soon as I change it to the same. But that didn’t work. So is there any means to get back the web address which I had earlier? Please help!

my web address was mysexyspecs.wordpress.com and now its mysxyspecs.wordpress.com ,
I need the previous one back, can I get it ??

Hey there @aaghazahmed!

When you changed your blog address, did you check the box next to where is says, “Discard Current Address”?

If you did check the box, you will not be able to get the address back.

However, if you left the box unchecked, I believe you can go through the whole process of changing your blog address (Dashboard -> My Blogs -> Change Blog Address) back to the one you desire.

When I tried to visit mysexyspecs.wordpress.com, I came to a screen that said, “mysexyspecs.wordpress.com is no longer available. The authors have deleted this site.”

This means that when you changed your blog address you checked the box to discard the address. I’m sorry but there’s no way you can get “mysexyspecs.wordpress.com” back.

Oh sorry about that I had two tabs open. But I purchased a domain and made a mistake and deleted it (I received the refund email for that cancellation).

And then I thought I could retrieve the domain back by simply just domain mapping, and it worked but I’m assuming that still doesn’t make the domain registered to me. So I cancelled the upgrade. This is what I still have not received the refund email for.

It was for thesundaegirl.com

You can’t map to a domain that you don’t own because you have to update your name servers with your host. You are doing the right thing by cancelling and requesting a refund.
