  My WordPress sub expired and I neglected to renew it. It’s been about a year. Can I get my website back?

  I had it as my website for about 10 years or more, but last year I let my WP subscription lapse, and now I want my website back. Any hope?

  Hi there – It looks like you may already own the domain through GoDaddy. If that’s the case, try the following steps.

  1. Go here: https://wordpress.com/checkout/blogodonia.wordpress.com

  You should see a checkout screen to “map” the domain gilliankendall.org. It should also be free, included with your plan.

  2. Click the Continue button to continue and complete the checkout process.

  3. Once you’ve completed the checkout, go to your Domains area for your site: https://wordpress.com/domains/manage/blogodonia.wordpress.com

  4. Make sure gilliankendall.org is set as your site’s “primary domain”.

  Once you’ve completed these steps, within 10-15 minutes your site should begin appearing at gilliankendall.org. Let us know if you have any questions as you go.
