Can I get rid of the scroll down feature on my homepage
-
my current website https://stillainsley.wordpress.com/ has two scroll features on the homepage. The scroll feature to the far right is fine, it allows users to scroll down to the bottom where the social media apps are located. However, there is also an interior scroll that users must use to continue reading the main text of that page. I don’t think this scroll feature is intuitive how its currently configured and wonder if there’s a way to simply do away with the feature? Can I make it so that the entire text appears and is just accessed from the far right scroll feature? Can I widen the text box so that more of the text fits and less of the photo shows? Can I do some combination of both? thanks

Hi there,
The idea with that area of your theme is really to have a very brief introduction to the site, with the more detailed content appearing on separate pages. The size of that area is fixed, and the scroll bar only appears if you add more text than would fit in that area.
It is possible to make the text area wider, or to make the entire image area bigger, but that can only be done with CSS code and you need the Premium plan to add that to your site.
