Can I get snow on my existing header?

How can I get snow on my blog without changing from Misty Look to Misty Lake. If I change header style will I lose all my stored header images?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

As far as I know, it’s independent of themes. Not sure about customizations.
Do you have it enabled in both places?

Your header images won’t be deleted if you change themes. They might not show up in the Header option page when you change themes, but if you uploaded them, you can select them from your Media Library. Just click on the “Choose Image” button below the Browse/Upload box.
