Can I get the Follow me button on my self hosted WordPress site running Jetpack?

  Hello, I’m building my portfolio at http://www.gablabelle.com/ and I just installed the Jetpack by WordPress.com plugin thinking I would also be able to show a “Follow me” button in the top right corner of my page.

  1) How can I install it? Do I need another plugin than the Jetpack by WordPress.com plugin? Which one?
  2) Does this works only for WordPress.com users or also for Tumblr users?

  No, you cannot get the WordPress.com “Follow Me” button on your blog. You can get “Subscribe to my blog” buttons and the info for those is at WordPress.org.

  Does this “Subscribe to my blog” have something to do with the subscribers being able to view my posts from their Reader? Or it’s simply a RSS feed?

  The Reader is literally only for WordPress.com hosted blogs. Otherwise, there are RSS subscription buttons and email subscription buttons.
