Can I have 2 different backgrounds and headers within the same site?
-
Hi, is it possible to display different backgrounds and headers within the same site? I would like to distinguish between my categories, as i intend to close my other site Unique Vintage Chic soon and just have the one blog.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

@tahmidahmed: You’re in the wrong forum! Your reply doesn’t apply to wordpress.com users.
@uniquesochic: But the first line of tahmidahmed’s reply is correct. Have you uploaded the images to your blog?

@tahmidahmed
Will you please go back to https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/ghost?replies=2#post-1612294 and read what I posted there? -
Confused by the replies here, I was told to use this particular forum by wordpress staff, who said I needed CSS help. My blog is a wordpress.com site.

I currently have 2 blogs with distinct styles.
I aim to keep separate styles if possible but now wish to combine my blogs for simplicity and just have 1 blog.So in a nutshell, I would like to separate my combined blog content with different background pages and headers.
I should add i have no knowledge of CSS, when I’ve used it before its with the help of staff, who have given me the code to copy in.
Can anyone help?
Thanks -
The two of the three replies are addressed to tahmidahmed, not you.
The one that’s addressed to you asks a simple preliminary question: Have you uploaded the images to your blog? -
I currently have a background & header & want to keep it. Yes it’s uploaded to my library.
The images I want to use for a distinct category have not yet been uploaded to Unique So Chic, as they belong to the blog I plan to close.
No point taking up space, I will upload to this blog if I know I can use them. -
Yes you can (otherwise I would have replied “not possible” instead of asking if the images have been uploaded).
Now, if you want codes: which category?

So:
First you upload the images from your computer to your blog via Media > Add New, click Edit and copy the image URLs from the File URL field of the Save box.
Then you add this CSS and paste the URLs where I’m showing:body.category-153780780 { background-image: url('BACKGROUND IMAGE URL HERE'); } .category-153780780 #header-image { background: url('HEADER IMAGE URL HERE'); }
