Can I have a different featured image thumbnail than heading?
-
In Cubic, is it possible to create a featured image for a post WITHOUT that image automatically becoming the header? I want to display an image on the main page as a thumbnail for a post, but I don’t want that image to be the post header.

Hi there!
There isn’t a built-in way to stop a post’s featured image from displaying in the header area, with Cubic. However, if your post doesn’t have a featured image but does include images, the theme will display the first image in a post on the main page. You could therefore remove a featured image from your post and, instead, include it as the post’s first image in order to remove it from your header area.
Another way around this is with some custom CSS. If you’re not familiar with CSS, it’s a coding language that’s used across the web to change the appearance of websites. CSS could be used to hide a featured image from the header area, however, in order to add CSS you’d need a WordPress.com Premium or Business plan.
Hope this helps! Please do let me know if you have any extra questions.
