Can I have a page automatically open in a page outside my wordpress site?
-
I have a page called “YouTube Channel” on my WordPress site (robertmac.com). I want that page to automatically direct to my YouTube channel, and have put that YT link in the WP permalink. However, when I paste the link, the dots (.) turn into slashes (/) and the slashes disappear.
http://www.youtube.com/user/ROBERTMACdotCOM/videos
ends up looking like this:
httpwww-youtube-comuserrobertmacdotcomvideos/–and, of course, the link doesn’t work.
Is there another way to have my page open to a specific url?
Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
I see that you’re already using a Custom Menu on your site. The easiest way for you to link to your YouTube channel from your site’s menu is to add a custom link in your menu (instead of linking to a page on your WordPress.com site).
You can edit your custom menu by going to Appearance > Menus in your dashboard. From there you can add a custom link — we have additional instructions for adding custom links here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/#adding-custom-links
Please let me know if you have any questions about that!
