Can I have a page with no header or sidebars, just the content?

  Hello there,

  I’m trying to follow some marketing advice and add a blank page, with no distractions in the form of menu bar, header etc offering people a free book if they join my e-mail list. The beginnings of the page is here http://mtmcguire.co.uk/m-t-mail/

  If I want it to be just the free book information and a ‘click for your free book’ button. Is there a way of suspending my theme for a page on wordpress.com or will I need to send people off site to a server I control where I can add something bespoke via ftp?

  Looking forward to any help anyone can give me.

  There is no way of “Suspending” a theme. You can choose a theme that displays single posts or pages with no widget sidebar if you want.

  I thought that might be the case. Thanks for that, I’ll have a look at some themes and see what I can find or pop them off site for a page.

  There is no way on any WordPress.COM blog not to have a theme. Are you clear on that?

  Yep. It’s off site somewhere else or if I can find a theme that’s simple enough, I might get away with something reasonably distraction free on site.
