Can I have an affiliate ad from kiwi crate on my blog?

  Can I have a link on my blog from kiwi crate? This is an affiliate program throughs shareasle.com and I don’t want to put the banner on my blog if it will be removed. This is a company that is directly related to the content of my blog.
  If I cannot add a banner to my blog for this company, can I have a link within my blog post when I review the product that they send me?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Thanks for your question. WordPress.com does not currently permit the use of many affiliate links in blog content. We define affiliate links as:

  * Links to external services and vendors that include a unique identifier within the link destination to tie the link to your account.
  * Personalized storefronts for services that use multi-level marketing or commission payout methods.
  * Links to file sharing services or link redirectors that give you “credits” or payment when visitors click on the links or download the files.
  * Links to pay-per-click services.

  Thanks for getting back to me so quickly! From what I can tell, it is OK for me to use the link. I am a “real blog” and the ad from Kiwi Crate would not meet any of those criteria as far as I can tell. Am I correct?

  As I mentioned in my response – an affiliate program is one that links to an external service that includes a unique identifier. Using any affiliate program will have an unique identifier in a link, which is not allowed on WordPress.com.

  If you require other advertising, you might be interested in a self-hosted (WordPress.org) installation. There are no restrictions on advertising if you setup a self-hosted WordPress.org blog instead of a WordPress.com blog, but there are some added responsibilities.
