Please post a link to your blog, starting with http://

If it is a .com blog, then the answer is no.

Thanks for the link, but the answer is still “no”
There are a few themes where a sidebar is not included on individual post pages but is on the front page, but otherwise within a theme all the pages keep the same styling—including the background color or image.
You can put a color or background image into each post, using html. But that is not exactly what you are asking, is it? If you are interested:

Eliza,
With the current theme, you cannot; however, if you used Sandbox 1.1 or 1.6 then you could.
I’ll make a test page and post the link as soon as I can.

Okay, here are my samples:

The first page has a yellow background, the second a black background.
Please let me know once you’ve seen them so that I can put them back to normal.
Thanks

right. everyday, something new is good. My answer in the other theme wasn’t wrong, just not elegant. One of these days I’ll venture into CSS.

Thanks devblog, and thanks 1tess!
I will be working on making the fixes you suggested. Sandbox seems to be a powerfull tool… I just need to sharpen my CSS skills first :)Thanks again guys… your help was appreciated!
