Can I have followers on my private blog without making them create a wordpress account?

  I am coming over from blogger and successfully set up my blog with wordpress now. I want to invite the 100+ readers to view my PRIVATE blog, but I don’t want every single one of them to HAVE to create a wordpress site in order to view my blog!! Is that possible?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Although they won’t need a WordPress site, they will need a WordPress account.
