Can I have more than one e-mail address on my WordPress-generated domain name?

  I followed this procedure and have purchased an email account from Networksolutions. I successfully created and activated the email address “(email visible only to moderators and staff)”. My church wants me to add two more e-mail addresses, “(email visible only to moderators and staff)” and “(email visible only to moderators and staff)”. I understand I have to purchase them the Network Solutions. Do I have go through the same procedure of adding MX and CNAME records here in WordPress to activate them, or do I have to do that independently through Network Solutions? I don’t want to “link” them to my WordPress site. I want to link them to the domain name that WordPress set up for me.

  Hi willythekorn,

  If you are just setting up additional email addresses at Network Solutions for the ctsaltadena.org than you should be fine.

  It looks to me like the MX and CNAME records are setup correctly.
  Does the first email address work no problem? If it does you shouldn’t need to make any more DNS changes in order to setup more email addresses. Just set them up with the email provider and you should be all set.
