Can I have pubblicity in my blog?

  Hie there,
  I need some information. I have been contacted from one person who likes my blog and he would to promote his group into my blog.
  I don’t know how I can manage this matter, but the issue is if wordpress can admit it.
  I will appreciate some advices .

  He probably wants you to put some sort of banner into a text widget. He should tell you what it wants. Remember that if it is advertising then it isn’t allowed. If it is just a reference to a blog, site, or discussion forum that should be OK.

In a nutshell no blogger initiated advertising, retailing or reselling the work created or services provided by anyone other than yourself is allowed on free hosted wordpress.COM blogs. E-commerce transactions via shopping carts and the like cannot be conducted on free blogs from and being free hosted by wordpress.COM

  The advertising exceptions noted in support documentation are for high traffic blogs that qualify for and are accepted into the Ad Control program, and for extremely high traffic blogs that qualify and are accepted into the paid VIP hosting program.

  I am not staff – however my limited interpretation is that you receive compensation for ads – I have several links on my site to to other sites – they are friends, a good local marine news site and other sites that have good information on boating safety – I don’t get paid for any of the links nor do I receive other compensation for the links.
