CAn I have the search bar on top on mobile version?

My site has a search bar and it’s easy to access on desktop version, it’s on the right side. But mobile responsive version is very bad and not user friendly. Users cannot reach to the search bar as it’s at the end of the page and everytime you scroll down to reach the footer, more content is loaded and you see more and more posts and cannot reach the footer.

Can I have the search bar on top of the page?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You may need assistance with your theme, I have tagged the right people in to assist you with this.

    Thanks

  • kafasikarisikbiranne – I’ll report this issue to our developers; you should always be able to reach the footer on mobile devices. To get around it for now, I’ve turned off Infinite Scrolling, so your visitors will see a button to load more posts instead, and that way they can reach the footer.

There isn’t a way to move the search box to the top of the page on small screens without Custom CSS, which is available with the Premium or Business plans.

sbathompson – what tag did you use? I don’t see a modlook tag on this thread, which is the only tag to get staff attention. :)

Kathrynwp, I apologize, I used Themes since I thought that was the correct tag. Next time I will solely use Modlook for these problems.

    Thank you for informing me

  • sbathompson – no worries, and certainly no need to apologize. :) Thanks for pitching in!

Howdy! Thanks for bringing this bug to our attention. We’ve fixed Scratchpad so users should be able to access the search bar on mobile devices.

    I hope this helps!

    Cheers,
    Caroline
