Can I have two blogs and a separate email address for each one?

Hello awesome WordPress support people!
I’m trying to manage a new blog for work as well as having an established personal one. I’d like to keep them separate with a different email for each one. Can I do this? I tried to put in a new email for the new work blog, and I got nervous that if I do this, it will change my other one also. Did I do this all wrong? Should I just delete the new blog and start totally over?

Sure, there are a couple of ways we can do this.
If you want complete, absolute separation between the two, you can have two separate WordPress.com accounts and manage each separately. Obviously, you would need to log out and log back in if you’re editing one and want to edit the other.
If you would like to do that, I can take care of that for you. I’d just need the e-mail address for the new account.
Another option, related to the above, is the same as above, except we can add your personal account as an user on the work blog, so you can manage both from your personal account, but someone without the work account couldn’t touch your personal blog. This may be preferred as, if other folks at work would like to help with the blog, they can also be added as users in the same way.
The opposite would be to keep them on the same account, but only change the e-mail address that receives notifications for that particular site (which looks like you may have started?) via https://tcslibrary.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-general.php .
Either way is completely valid; just depends on what level of separation you’d like between the two.
