Can I have two distinct Domain names on my paid WordPress site?

I would like to map an existing name I registered two weeks ago at Register.com to my TalkToTheShoe site hosted here. I understand the “Map an Existing Domain Instructions.”

What I want find out is, after I do that, can the TalkToTheShoe.com Domain take them to ONE BLOG page on my WordPress site and see my blog… BUT THE REST OF THE SITE be the domain name KatBastion.com where they have to click a tab to get to TalkToTheShoe blog?

In other words, you give instructions on how to make the WordPress blog a subdomain on a domain held at another site, how do I make the WordPress blog a subdomain within its own site that has KatBastion.com as the primary domain.

And if so, how do I do this?

Also, if I transfer the KatBastion.com domain, which I just purchase a couple weeks ago, do you automatically prompt me to renew with the rest of the domains names so my domain names are not at risk?

    Thank you for helping me.

  • No, that wouldn’t be possible.

You can map more than one domain to your WordPress.com blog, but one domain will be primary for the entire site, meaning that the other will just redirect to it.

    Thank you for your reply.

So, instead I will do two sites, one for the blog, one for my main website and have each contain links to the other.
