Can I have two separate blogs?
-
I have two businesses. One is fitness/wellness and health related, the other is a European Bicycle Tour company. I would like to create two separate blogs. I created one first for my wellness business. No problems there. Then I tried to create one for my bicycle touring business. It should have a different profile, a different picture for me, etc, but although WordPress allowed me to create a separate blog, I can’t make it completely separate. It still uses my username for the first one, and all the posts appear on the same page in my Dashboard. What can I do to make this different? I would like it to be as if I am two different people doing two different blogs. I also can’t seem to change the “MyWeblog” at the top to “CyclingEurope’s Weblog”, like it let me do for my first blog. Is it just that it recognized my computer when I went to create the new one?
Thanks for any suggestions and help.

What you would have to do is set up a new blog on a new separate account for the second one which will require a different email address as each account has to have a unique email address.

I have a question about this as well.
Can people search your username somehow and find all the blogs you have, if you have more than one?

The short answer to queenalyssa’s question is “no”. The long answer is:
Wordpress.com members have the choice of linking their usernames to any of their blogs but only to one blog. And it’s only that one blog linked to their username that will appear on their profile page.
Also note that it’s not required that members link to their usernames to their blogs at all. And that those with NSFW mature content blogs or private blogs will not have their usernames linked to their blogs. -
