Can I have users create and search local listings?

  I want to make a site that allows there to be two kinds of users, buyers and sellers. I want users to post listings, with a required address, and have them all searchable. Next, I want to be able to have the buyer be able to “claim” a listing, for lack of a better term, and “check it out”. For example, lets say someone is selling a TV; they give an address, a buyer will see the listing, and they are able to pay for the TV through the website and pick it up. Does this seem 100% possible through a pro account? I have tried on weebly, squareone, etc.. and they all blow. I do not want to give wordpress $100 up front if it can’t handle this.

  **BONUS QUESTION** I want to create a feedback system for buyers/sellers with algorithms, very similar to that of eBays. Is this also possible through wordpress? Thanks for any help, I can’t find the answer anywhere on the internet.

  Hi there. This type of website is neither possible nor allowed on WordPress.com. While you may sell items via a WordPress.com site, you may only sell your own products and you can’t use it as a platform for other people to sell stuff.

  To run this type of ecommerce site you’ll need to buy your own domain and hosting and set up a self-hosted WordPress.org website. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and different. More info here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
