Can I hide a comment?

  Hi, I have a reader that wants to hide her comments for a while. I was searching for a way to do it – other than deleting entirely but found no support. I checked the forums but nothing addresses this issue unless I missed something.
  Is there something I can do? The reader would like it posted at a later date for personal reasons, but in the meantime have it removed from my site temporarily – any help would be appreciated.

  Well, you could “Unapprove” it, but you might need to have content moderation on for that. Then just “Approve” it later.

  There is an option on all comments to “defer” them until a later date.

  I think TT is referring to Dashboard -> Manage -> Comments -> Edit the comment in question and change the timestamp to a later date.

  I just tried it but it just shows the new date, even though it’s in the future.

  It appears though that if you change the Advanced flag to ‘Moderated’, it will hid it for the time being. I don’t know if there’s a time limit to this or not. I’ll send in a feedback and see if we can get a Staff Member to clarify this.
