Can i hide a post?

  I would like to hide a post so that it doesn’t get sent to my subscribers when published. I don’t want to use the password protected option. It is so I can link from another site to a welcome style page.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  It isn’t currently possible to specify that a certain post not get sent out to your subscribers. The best way around this would be to first publish the post as a private post as explained here:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/#private-post

  Then, once the post is published, you can go back and change the post from private to public. It will not be sent out to subscribers.
