Can I host a WordPress Blog natively on my own site?

Just like the topic says, here is what I want to do:

I have my own website, and I have added a “blog” button to the menu. Now, what I would like to do is create a page for the blog and have all the content stay on that page. So, instead of them clicking on the “blog” button in the menu and it opening a new window for the blog, hosted out on the WordPress server, I want them to stay on my webpage. Is that possible with WordPress? If so, how do I do that? I’m sorry if this is a relatively noob question for WordPress, but I looked around and couldn’t find exactly the answer I was looking for. Thank you VERY much for any help!

    Andrew
