Can I include a blogroll with Monotone theme?

Hi,
I know you can’t have any widgets with Monotone but can I have a blogroll?
Thanks,
patrick. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can also add the links manually to the “about” page. The downside of this is that readers may not think to look there for a blogroll or random link or a link to another page…

You write them as if you were putting them in a post, and link each one to wherever the site is.

If it’s a blogroll you want, you don’t really have to write them individually. What I’d do is get another blog (keep it private), use a theme with widgets, make the blogroll, go to the source code of the extra blog, find the blogroll there, copy it, and paste it into the “real” blog’s about page via the HTML editor.
Or do as panos said, and make the front page static and paste it there.

Not everybody can parse sourcecode, though. I’m thinking if it’s someone who doesn’t know how to make a link at all, that might be a giant step too far.

Yes, of course. But Safari and Firefox each have the nifty “find” feature so it’s not too difficult to find the code. And it is all in one list. But I do clearly remember being afraid to touch any HTML.
