Can I increase the 'clickable' link size on a Custom Menu item with an image?

I am using the Custom Menu in a widget, I have done the CSS to incorporate an image-background for the link below the text link, however, the image part does not link, just the text. How do I enlarge the click-able area for this?

Actually, the site I need help with is not wordpressdesigntulsa.com…it is a secured site that you can’t have access to. Which makes this that much more fun! Any ideas would be appreciated.

Well since there’s no direct access to the site, I’m doing this blindly.

If you set the anchor link with display:block, then it will make the link area bigger and fill the entire container (presumable an li element).

So something like:
```
.menu li a {
    display: block;
}
```
Will make the whole area clickable.

Yeah, I have each of the elements (menu items) set up as ‘display:block’ but it still won’t allow you to click on the background image that is a little lower than the text link, but the rollover works…LOL See if you can look at an image of the menu…maybe it will make more sense. The icons change to a darker blue when rolled over, but nothing makes the link work on the image itself under the text.

I understand, but I can’t put the access to the site in a public forum. Sorry. If hfzrhmn wanted to see what I am talking about I would have to send him the access via email. I am not asking for email support.

You have two choices:
1. Make the site public so hfzrhmn or another Volunteer can view it and help you.

2. Or leave the privacy setting on and wait for Staff to help you.

My client, the one who owns the site I am working on, is the one that set the security. They do not want the access user name and password (currently the only way for anyone to see the site, including me) to be posted in a public forum. Which is why I said if anyone would like to see the site to email me. If not…don’t.

The person with the username account needs to act if they want private support. They need to login and contact Staff. http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/
