can i install a mailchimp widget on a free online theme?

i am accessing wordpress online (i haven’t downloaded anything as i want to buy a theme soon but wanting to get a feel for different options.
in the meantime i have a mailchimp account and would like to install a widget.
is that possible?thanks!

We don’t offer integration with MailChimp — however you could link to your page for new subscriptions by using the image widget.
