Can I install a plugin on wordpress.com without switching to wordpress.org?

    Is this possible? I want to use a plugin made by WPMU DEV for membership functionality without having to switch to wordpress.org as that requires way more time on my part to manage.

    Short answer: No.
    Only the Business Plan has the possibility to add Google Analytics as an additional plugin. Otherwise we cannot add to the plugins that are already built in to the WordPress.com platform.
