Can I install "Follow by Email" button without using sidebars or footers?

  Is there a way to install a “Follow by E-mail” button on my site’s static front page without using a sidebar widget area? This theme has no footer widget area either. I’d like to use the full-width template but still have a “Follow” button on there.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Someone did hack the code for that button and post about it here, but I can’t find the thread now. Try just “view source” and see if you can find the code for the button.

  Hi there,

  You all are completely right. As far as I’m aware, the link @timethief provided (http://genobz.wordpress.com/2011/06/18/direct-link-to-subscribe-to-a-blog/) is really the only way around it (other than the fact that logged-out visitors will see the follow button in the lower right and logged-in visitors can just click the follow link in their admin bar, of course!).

  And I actually was just informed that there is another option! Hooray!
