Can I install Zippy Course on my blog

  Hello – I would like install Zippy Courses on my blog – Is this possible as I do not see a plugin option. Please advise

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  It is not possible to install plugins on WordPress.com, for security reasons. Plugins can only be installed on self-hosted WordPress.org blogs.

  WordPress.com has a lot of built-in features that were inspired by popular plugins, so most of the time we can find a workaround that will provide similar functionality.

  Could you send me a link to the Zippy Courses plugin you were hoping to use? I’d be happy to take a look and see how close we can get.

  Here is the link for the site https://zippycourses.com/ The plug in is in a folder so not sure how to attach that here.

  There’s a lot going on with that plugin! I normally like to find a workaround that will let you stay on WordPress.com, but I’m not sure I can find something that completely replicates the experience. They’re making use of a lot of advanced features available on self-hosted sites, including Custom Post Types and adjusting the interfaces of the post editors. This plugin will also let you drip content at different times to different readers. On WordPress.com you’ll only be able to schedule posts for all readers.

  Basically, if you know you want to use Zippy Courses, you’ll need to transfer your site to self-hosted instead of WordPress.com. We have steps on how to do that here:

  But please let me know if you have other questions! I’d love to help you set up your site best as possible without that plugin if you’d prefer to stay, or aid you in that transfer process if you really need the Zippy Courses system.
