Can I just change my current wordpress.com address (and delete it) to another new wordpress.com address, please?

Yes, you can. Follow these instructions https://wordpress.com/support/changing-site-address/ but before you proceed, please be aware that once you change the name, you will not be able to get it back again. You could just set the blog to private, rather than delete it, and then set up a new blog.

FREE, sorry. A wordpress.com in both cases. I just had to switch the name because the first one is almost equal to another one (only without ‘s’)

I have just begun this website, but it was very hard for me to build it up. Thus, I do not care about the visitors, but I do care about any changes since I am a beginner (((:: So I do not need to point it out to another address, but just have exactly the same everything in the new address.

You can change the blog address, as I said previously, and I gave you the link for the instructions. What is it you are wanting to do exactly? Are you wanting to transfer the content of one blog to a new one?

YES. In fact I already transferred it by export + import but it does not look the same.
So the best would be that my first original and good website (i.e., xxxx.wordpress.com) would just change the name (i.e., yyyy.wordpress.com).
In my account I do own both free domains (i.e., xxxx.wordpress.com; yyyy.wordpress.com).
I do not have any visitors to any of these two websites, so the best would be just changed the name from ‘xxxx….’ to ‘yyyy….’.

But I told you how to change the name. I gave you the link for the instructions right at the start. You cannot change the one blog name for the name of the other blog, if that is what you are actually asking. They probably don’t look the same because you have different themes on each. Could you tell us both blog URLs please.

OK. So, you had the content on one blog, and then you transferred it to a new blog, because you wanted to change the name of the blog URL. Is that correct so far? But what else is it you are trying to do exactly? As I explained, you cannot change the URL of one blog for the other. Are you just wanted to change the title on the blog, and not the actual blog URL name? Thank you.

But you said you already transferred the content by export and import from the other blog. You cannot change the blog URL to the other URL, I told you that. It’s best if staff help you as I am getting confused by what you are asking. I will add “modlook” to the tags for you, so staff will reply.
