Can i just edit my site without completing the domain transfer?

  I have a website up now that I’d like to redo that already has users. I don’t want to release the new one until its complete and then I’d like to just switch it out then. WordPress keeps asking me for the domain info before i can get started

  Of course! Transferring the domain won’t make the new site live. You’d have to change its name server settings for that.

  Still, if you want to be extra safe, just go ahead and skip any domain options and continue working on the site, then add the domain when you’re ready. I do recommend adding your plan though so you’ll have access to the extra features and support.
