can i just hide the site rather than deleting

  I don’t need the site right now but would like to be able to keep the name. Is this possible?

  Hi there,

  Which site is this for? I see you have a few on your account. By “hide the site” do you mean you wish to take it offline so the public cannot see it (but you still can) or do you mean you also do not want to see the site listed in your “My Sites” tab?

  The best way to do this is to set your site to be “private”. Here is a support document that will explain how to do that.
