Can I keep a premium theme after moving my blog to another server

  I’ve got a premium account and I’m thinking of purchasing a premium theme. If I decide to move my account to another server, can I still use the premium theme then? I would still be using wordpress, but the problem I’m having is that I can’t use plug-ins, which in close future I maybe would like to change.

  Help would greatly be apprechiated.

  Such a good question to ask before you take the plunge!

  Themes purchased at WordPress.com can only be used here, on our servers.

  In order to choose a theme that will work on a self-hosted site on another server, you can search here:

  https://wordpress.org/themes/

  Many Premium themes at WordPress.com have counterparts at WordPress.org, so you can start be searching by theme name to see if it’s available.

  Thank you so much for answering that quickly. So if I can’t find the theme under the link, it won’t work and I won’t be able to transfer my blog as it is to a self-hosted site? (The theme is called “Healthy Living” by the way).
  But if I choose a theme like “Twenty Eleven” which can be found on both pages, it will be fine?

  This is correct. Although, all your content will still be moved during the transfer. You’d simply need to reconfigure it to look great in your new theme.

  However, I did find this for you:

  Looks like you can download Healthy Living from the developers’ website.

  But if I choose a theme like “Twenty Eleven” which can be found on both pages, it will be fine?

  This is true as well! So you are aware, you would still have to configure the theme, so all the bells and whistles are set up as you’d like.
