Can I link a thumbnail to a larger image on a page.
-
I’d like to link an image in my post to a larger image on a seperate page not just a larger image in a browser window. Is this possible? If so would you please provide the steps?
Thanks.

When you add or insert the image, select “Post URL”, not “File URL”. That will open the image in a new “post”.

When you insert images from the Image Uploader, you also have the option of linking your image to a Post URL, not only the Image URL. Use that choice to make your image appear in a separate Attachment Page.

That FAQ can be a little confusing, because the choices mentioned at the end actually refer to the old image uploader. -

That’s close thanks. How would I stop the “post” page from being able to accept comments since it seems to be a dynamic page?
Again, thanks for getting me this far!

Unfortunately, if it works the same way as the Gallery Attachment pages, and I suspect it does, you can’t turn off commenting on that Attachment page without turning commenting off for your entire blog and then turning it back on Post by Post.
These Attachment Pages are useful really, but IMNSHO not well thought out.
