Can I link my banner ads to my external website?

  I am trying to start a blog page for my new business as an Independent Team Beachbody Coach. As a coach, I have access to professionally created banner ads that will link to a website for customers who are interested to purchase some of the Beachbody products I will be talking about on my fitness blog.
  I am having trouble doing this with the text widget and am wondering why.
  Please help me figure this out as I’d like to get my new business blog up and running. Thank you!
