Can I link to btmydonate?

    My husband wants to start a WordPress blog for the charity he is involved with. It is to support teaching Latin to comprehensive school kids.

    Are you allowed to have a link to btmydonate [where people can donate money] from your blog?

    He does not want to use Pay Pal because you can’t get gift aid [the tax is returned to the charity] and since you also need to pay Pay Pal the charity would get a much smaller percentage of the donation.

    I love WordPress and don’t want to go against the rules. I can’t find any specific information about this.

    You can link to charity donation sites. However, if you are trying to add something like form code or an iframe or some code that uses Javascript, that is not allowed at WordPress.com. See this help page for more info: http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/#javascript

    Adding just a link should work just fine.
