Can I lose my content posted within a these minisite if i change my theme later?

I just discovered that to use some of the available tools and perks within the theme i purchased, i need to write all my content and posts within the theme itself in the form of mini sites. My concern is that if I decide at a later date i want to change my theme, all my content will be held within this theme and i will lose all my posts.
Does this sound accurate – i am completely new at Word Press.

What does this mean. You have a single blog ie. a single web site and every blog has only a single running page for posts that you can post to.
Static pages do NOT automatically update.
(1) There is only one page we can post to in any blog and
(2) The static pages http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/ we bloggers create do not automatically update.Only the dynamic pages like Archives, Categories and Tags created by the software when we publish a post will update automatically update with new posts.
By default the front page of the blog is the Page that displays all posts in your blog. You can create a static front page but doing that does not change what follows.
Though there is only one dynamic page in a blog for posts (not pages) http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/ and we cannot post to more than that one page, we can create the appearance that we have posted to more than one page.
We organize posts by assigning categories to them. You can create a custom menu and add the dynamic categories pages into the custom menu.

There are many common errors, misunderstandings and misconceptions when creating custom menus and there are some tweaks you can use to improve your custom menu as well.

There’s not need for concern at all.
You can quickly and easily change themes to another one found here http://wordpress.com/themes/ and no data will be lost or negatively affected by the change. The only time you may have to do some work is if you are changing to a dramatically different theme and have purchased a custom design upgrade and have done any CSS editing.
Provided you are logged in as Admin under the same username account that registered the blog go to Dashboard > Appearance > Themes and browse themes until you find one you like and click “activate” or type in the name of the theme you want to use and
click the “activate” link when it appears.After you change your theme all you need to do is go here Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets > Inactive Widgets and re-install them where you want them to appear. The widget contents and settings will be the same as they were prior to changing themes.

Okay – thank you for letting me know! I am completely new to word press and know i needed to add the privacy policy and term and conditions, i just had not done it yet… I will disable my site and add that content before i re-launch it. Thanks for that information!!!!

I understand in word press my actual POSTS and Pages / categories wont change when i change up my themes, but this particular theme is telling me i need to create minisites within the theme itself and actually write all my posts (they are actually called Articles) within the theme’s minitire options, NOT as a standard regular post. If i write mt Article through this Minisite, it does NOT show up under my WordPress “all posts”. The only place i can see it is under the mimisite.
My fear is, this minisite option was a tool i am using through this theme. If all my artiles are written within this themes minisite structure and i change my theme, wont all my articles be lost?

I spent the better part of yesterday researching and writing disclosures, Privacy policy, affiliate disclosure and things like that. Is this better???

WOW – i didn’t realize i was logged into my other blog account as everyone has been helping and assisting. Okay – see i am very confused here. Someone set up the template and site for me to fill with content. So because its a .org blog, are the rules different? Am I in any violation of anything? Are the TOS different for a .org blog?

The rules are entirely different for a .org blog. Relax, you are in a better position. You just need to be over at their forums for support.
