Can I make a separate tab with separate posts?
-
I am using the sorbet theme. I want to put a tab in the contact header (where I now have about me, contact me, etc.) called “Blogger for a Day,” which will feature posts (or pages?) that my readers, who are not bloggers, have written themselves. I want these posts to be separate from my posts. Another way to describe what I want to do is to have a mini-blog running on my blog under a “Blogger for a Day” tab. How can I make that happen? Thanks so much for your help.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey there!
It sounds like what you really need is to create a category called, “Blogger for a Day” and add those posts to it. Categories help you organize blog posts into your menu tabs. I am in the midst of creating an infographic that may help you…it’s only a draft, but I think it’ll be useful, so I’ll include it :)
Here you go: https://cloudup.com/cFnfIQBXx5t
Since that is only the beta version/unfinished version of the infographic, the links aren’t live yet. At the bottom of the page, #1 Create a Category will link to this instructional page:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/categories/And #3 Create a Menu tab will link to these instructions on how to create a custom menu.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/I hope this helps! If you have any other concerns, drop me a note. Thanks much!
