Can I make different posts on different pages?
-
Hi,
when I decided on the way my blog was gonna be organized I thought that I can post every post on which ever page I wanted. Like the Home page has my latest 10 posts and then, the other posts on the specific page it was meant to be. But today I wrote a post and I wanted to choose on which page to publish it (only had one page created, other than the Home page) and I could not do that. I mean for me pages were like another sort of categories and thought I could choose for every post on what page it should be published. Can I do that ? Am I missing something?
Thank you in advance,

Pages are form of content, like posts, so they can’t actually contain posts.
Instead, leverage your categories and category archives.

See this post by Panos on using categories to organize your posts.
Then also see the support document here on using custom menus where you can add categories to your main navigation.

Ok, all clear now. Thanks, guys! I just have to make categories and use them as I would have used pages, inserting them in a custom menu. It was a bit confusing at the beginning because pages would automatically appear in the default menu, before I created my new custom menu.
