Can I make it so any user can add information in a category

The title says it all. I want them to be able to leave their info on my blog in certain categories if they want.

Have you considered that 80% of all so-called comments submitted to WordPress.com blogs each and every day are spam? Have you considered that if anyone could directly enter anything to your blog, without you inviting them and adding them as an official user, that your blog would be full of porno and spam before you could blink an eye?

Your right. With their contact info I could email them and they could reply with their info and I could add it. If it’s spam I could delete it. Right?
