Can I make my custom header image smaller, so it doesn't take up as much space?
-
I am using a theme that allows for a custom header. I wanted to make my header smaller than the 900 x 235 px standard size for that particular theme. Every time I tried to upload the smaller header image (about 700 x 183 px), it automatically re-sized the image to 900 x 235 px. Can you please let me know if there is a way to keep my header smaller so it doesn’t take up so much space?

Howdy,
You may want to check out the Custom Design Upgrade. This allows you to customize your theme, change layout and colors, hide unwanted elements, and more. However, this does require at least some basic experience with CSS and HTML.
To learn more about the upgrade, see here:

Thank you. I will check it out. I have a B.S. in Interactive Multi-Media, so the CSS and HTML shouldn’t be an issue. I was just wondering if there was any way to do it without having to get too heavy into the coding. I will definitely look into the upgrade though!
