Can I make my front page a completely different layout?

  I would like to create a website. I have made a static front page and have tried all manner of ways to change the layout. I would like the front page to look completely different from the other pages, i.e. blog page. I tried a custom design upgrade but couldn’t work out how to remove theme elements using css. Is there a way of achieving this look without creating the entire site using a css based theme (ie toolbox / sandbox)? I don’t think my skills are up to that!

  Hi there,

  Unfortunately, there is no way to set your static homepage to be a different layout than the rest of your site without using custom CSS.
