Can I make my registration details private AFTER I purchase a domain?

  I want to buy a domain name, and register it privately. You’ve offered a discount, and I want to take advantage of this. Unfortunately, when I try to make the registration details private, I’m not allowed to purchase that option. The coupon immediately erases it from my cart. I’m fine with paying full price for that option, but it won’t let me add it at all before I purchase. Can I add that AFTER the fact?
