Can I make my text darker?

  I just have the basic package for my new blog. I learned how to add the “more” tag today. The text is pretty light on my page and can’t be seen very well. I was just wondering if it was possible to make the text in the more tag any darker than it is now. Thanks in advance for any help!

  You can change the color of text in posts and pages on a post/page by post/page basis using the font color icon in the visual editor. To make a permanent change in the text color for posts and pages would require the Custom Design Upgrade.

  Actually, that doesn’t work. I’m trying to change the color of the custom text in the “more” tag. The whole tag is showing up as a picture in the visual and as a code in the text. Can I code for colored text in the more tag code? If so, how?
