can i make single pages much like a website

    I have a blog called goodbalancedlife.com and I would like to make a few individual pages in a grid type set up for advertising individual products that fall in the theme of my blog.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    You can add Pages to your site along with Posts, however I see that goodbalancedlife.com is using WordPress.org rather than WordPress.com which this support forum is for.

    I’d really like to help you with this!

    However, goodbalancedlife.com is hosted at Bluehost.com, and not with WordPress.Com. The help available in these forums is for people whose content is hosted here at WordPress.Com. The only thing besides you that goodbalancedlife.com and mitchleessummit.wordpress.com have in common is they both use the WordPress software.

    It is easy to be confused by this. The WordPress software is written and maintained by the WordPress.org community, and is the blogging software that is used by over 25% of the web!

    Because of their commitment to Open Source code, ease of use, and popularity, WordPress software is installed by many hosting providers for use by their subscribers like you.

    Automattic owns the hosting service known to us as WordPress.com.
    BUT the software that you are using on your self hosted blog has no real connection with WordPress.com, beyond the name. They don’t talk to each other (even though they are on good terms).

    https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ explains many of the differences between self-hosted and sites hosted at WordPress.Com
    https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_vs_WordPress.com is a great who is who explanation.

    Hi there,

    I have a blog called goodbalancedlife.com

    This blog URL appears to be hosted by GoDaddy, rather than WordPress.com. I see that you have a WordPress theme that you have download, however the theme you are using, Simple Catch, is also not one of the themes offered here on WordPress.com, rather it is available at WordPress.org .
