Can I make the follow text for "follow this blog" widget visible?

  Hi. I am using the Intergalactic theme, which I love, but the problem I’m having is that the “follow” text for the “follow blog” widget does not show up unless you hover over it. The rest of the text shows up fine. Is there a way to fix this? My blog is kylelewisartandfurniture.wordpress.com

  The Intergalatic theme is deigned to have a slide-out sidebar and as a button must be clicked to view the it I don’t know how to help with making the widget more prominent.

  Please make sure you set the widget up correctly http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/follow-blog-widget/ because it’s not working for me and that’s why I am tagging this thread for Staff help.   I see that there is a follow button on the bottom right of the screen that appears when viewers are not logged in. And I know there is a follow button on the top toolbar for logged in users, so I guess it’s not really a big deal and the widget may actually be unnecessary. Still, others may want to use the widget so I’m glad I brought it to someone’s attention. :)

  Hi there,

  As @timethief said, it’s part of the design aesthetic for Intergalactic that the sidebar isn’t visible unless the menu button is clicked. If you want a theme which has a sidebar visible the entire time, you may want to consider a different theme.

  You’re right though, the follow button is available to both logged out and logged in viewers, so you should be covered at any time for anyone who wants to follow your site!
