Can I make thumbnail grid images a uniform size?

  I would like the gallery on my (static) home page http://www.deborahwaltman.com to have thumbnails which are all the same size – so that it looks nice and clean like the example on the support page.

  As you can see, all the images are different sizes so it looks kind of haphazard. Is there a way to clean it up?

  Or, I could use square tiles, but is there a way to make them smaller so there could be more columns? I think the square tiles are too big.
