can i manually republish a post to linkedin
-
i published a new post and although my wordpress says i am connected to linkedin for publishing, the post has not appeared as shared on my linkedin profile. I have reconnected the linkedin connection via WordPress dashboard, but is there a way to manually ‘republish’ that particular post to my LinkedIn profile (without re-doing the whole thing and confusing or annoying followers).
Thanks.

Hi!
I’m not entirely sure why the post didn’t Publicize to LinkedIn. Did you have the post in draft format before adding the LinkedIn connection? If so, you would need to manually check the option, but posts created after the connection was added should be publicized automatically.
As of sharing this post to LinkedIn without reposting to your site, the best option would be to share it manually using the share buttons at the bottom of your post.

I have found over time that even though the links are set up the post sometimes does not publish to LinkedIn. I will then go and reset the connection and the next post seems to go through. Glitches with your system. But I can only tell at the other end, because WordPress will tell me it has been published.
I was definitely publishing, not saving to draft.
I did use the share button. Was thinking there might be another way through the dashboard.
Thanks.

Thanks for the additional details. The next time a post doesn’t publish to LinkedIn, can you reply back here with the title of the post or the exact URL?

This one from this morning does not seem to have published to LinkedIn: http://theleadershiplamplight.com/2015/02/06/you-dont-deserve-to-be-in-business-if/

Thanks! It looks like there might be some larger issue with LinkedIn and Publicize at the moment. I’ll keep you updated!

Hi!
The LinkedIn Publicizing issues should be cleared up now. Let me know if you have any additional trouble!
